The One Thing I Fogot to Do

“Emily!”  My maid rushed up to me.  “Miss Emily!  You forgot something!”

“What do you want?  Can’t you see that I’m trying to leave for my date?”  This was an important date, too.  One that I had actually wanted to go on.  After all the suitors passed by the queen, we had agreed.

“Miss Emily, I am so sorry, but you forgot one very important thing!”  I sighed noisely as she prattled on.

“Bronwyn, you are dismissed.  Go do whatever it is that you do after hours.”  I turned on my heel and stalked away.  Whatever it was could wait.  My date wouldn’t.

  1. Maybe that’s for a different story! 🙂

And you know, if I write these every week day, I’ll have 60,000 words done in a year. So take that, NaNoWriMo!
